-Make sure the DOT (Department of Transportation) shows 3 years . Many companies only show the current year or current year as well as previous year. That means they just opened towards the end of the previous year, pretending to have been in business for a long time.
-Avoid companies that take you to reviews on other companies. BIG RED FLAG!! They put up fake reviews on competitors and then take customers to those fake reviews as a scare tactic.
-If a company's pitch is to spend time talking about another company they are misleading you to control what they show you about themselves.
-The D.O.T. is the only snapshot of a moving company that cannot be manipulated
-D.O.T. complaints should never be over 25 in any given year. Yes, all companies have complaints.
